The Good Ol' Days/Future Lost is episode 6.5 of the Nickelodeon animated television series The Fairly Oddparents. It aired on October 7, 2005.

Instead of Vicky babysitting him, Timmy's Grandpa Pappy babysitts him while his parents are out. So Timmy wishes he and his Grandpa Pappy were in old cartoons.

Timmy finds one of his dad's old books in his attic and he wishes that he lived futuristic society. But problems brew when all the world's robots (even Cosmo and Wanda disguised as robots) are controlled by a giant brain.

  • In The Good Ol' Days, when Timmy eats the can of beets, he becomes super strong just like when Popeye eats spinach.
  • Future Lost is sort of similar to the movie, I, Robot starring Will Smith.
  • In The Good Ol' Days, it is revealed that present-day Chip Skylark is actually Chip Skylark III. Chip appeared in both episodes.
  • When the man is telling about the animal captruing he looks like Charles Lindberg.
  • Also when the Charels Lindberg man was talking about critics his reply is "Nuts".This a spoof of the allied response to the germans at the battle of the buldge.
  • When Ubetcha says "Good Evening Mr. and Mrs. America, and All the Ships at Sea." is a spoof of the novel.
  • When Timmy asks Pappy what $20 will get them he only had one bill,but in the bar he has a sack of money.
  • When Timmy blows all of the dust off the book in Future Lost, it is Steevy Sparks #17. Later in the episode, Dinkleburg says it's Steevy Sparks #1.
  • In The Good Ol' Days, When Timmy and Pappy walk down the corner on one Street sign it says "Ub" and on another it says "Iwerks" and Ub Iwerks was one of the first animators to work with Walt Disney.
  • It's a coincidence how one episode is about the past and one is about the future
