The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini was the seventh (and last) of the American International Pictures Beach Party films and was released in 1966.
[edit] Synopsis
The ghost of recently dead Mr. Hiram Stokley (Boris Karloff) finds that he has 24 hours to perform one good deed to get into Heaven. He enlists the help of his long dead girlfriend, Cecily, to stop his lawyer, Reginald Ripper, and henchman from claiming the estate for themselves. The real heirs, Chuck, Lili, Hiram's cousin Myrtle, and her son bring their beach party friends to the mansion for a pool party while Reginald Ripper also employs his daughter Sinistra, and J. Sinister Hulk's slow-witted associates Chicken Feather and Yolanda to help them terrorize the teens, while dopey biker Eric Von Zipper and his Malibu Rat Pack bikers also get involved in pursuing Yolanda for a share of the estate.

[edit] Trivia
The film was originally titled "The Girl in the Glass Bikini". This title was used at the end of Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine, which is unofficially part of the Beach Party film series.
Interestingly, this is the only one of the "beach" movies that didn't take place on the beach, but, rather, in a haunted house.
Before filming, both Franky (Frankie Avalon) and DeeDee (Annette Funicello) decided they had had enough of the beach films, choosing instead to star together in Fireball 500. Audiences didn't take as well to "Chuck and Lili", and the film was considered a box office flop. AIP decided to end the series with this film, although there was an attempt to resurrect the series with 1987's Back to the Beach.
