The Gaiety School of Acting is an Irish drama school. It is located on Sycamore Street in Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
The school was founded in 1986 by actor and director Joe Dowling, who currently serves as the chairman of the school.
In addition to the two year full-time course the GSA runs part-time and youth courses in locations all around Ireland.
Prominent Irish actors who attended the school include Colin Farrell and Stuart Townsend.
The school offers a three year undergraduate BA degree in acting which is validated by Dublin City University[1]. The degree will be delivered by the school at new facilities attached to the Smock Alley Theatre in Temple Bar, which is soon to be reinstated.
