The Funeral Pyre is a black metal band from La Habra, California, USA.

With several regional tours under its belt, this band has become one of the west coast's most sought-after bands.[citation needed] After one independent release "Immersed by the Flames of Mankind", the band released their sophomore album "The Nature of Betrayal" on August 22, 2006 through Creator-Destructor Records. In a distribution deal with Prosthetic Records, "The Nature of Betrayal" will be released on March 20, 2007.
