In the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, the Free League is a faction in the Planescape campaign setting. Their belief lies in the fact that their beliefs are separate from the other factions in that world; yet they share that common independence (re: Indeps) among themselves and as a result become a "faction" themselves.

Because of the non-hierarchical order of their philosophy, the Indeps have no faction "leader".

Their iconographical representation is a Wyrm-like foetal skeleton curled into a position similar to that of the Ragnarok snake eating its tail.
