The Fourteen Infallibles

According to Twelver Shia Islam The Fourteen Infallibles (Ma'asumin - معصومين) are Historical figures that committed no sins and never made a mistake. The Shia believe that the prophet Muhammad, his daughter Fatima Zahra and the 12 Shia Imams are infallible.

1. The last prophet of Islam - the Prophet Muhammad
2. The daughter of Muhammad, wife of the first Shia Imam - Fatima bint Muhammad
3. The first Shia Imam - Ali ibn Abu Taleb
4. The second Shia Imam - Hasan ibn Ali, eldest son of Ali, the first Imam and Fatima.
5. The third Shia Imam - Hussein ibn Ali, second son of Ali and Fatima
6. The fourth Shia Imam - Ali ibn Hussein, eldest son of Hussein, the third Shia Imam.
7. The fifth Shia Imam - Muhammad al-Baqir, eldest son of Ali, the fourth Shia Imam.
8. The sixth Shia Imam - Jafar al-Sadiq, eldest son of Muhammad, the fifth Shia Imam.
9. The seventh Shia Imam - Musa al-Kazim, second son of Jafar, the sixth Shia Imam.
10. The eighth Shia Imam - Ali al-Rida, eldest son of Jafar, the seventh Shia Imam.
11. The ninth Shia Imam - Muhammad al-Taqi, eldest son of Ali, the eighth Shia Imam.
12. The tenth Shia Imam - Ali al-Hadi, eldest son of Muhammad, the ninth Shia Imam.
13. The eleventh Shia Imam - Hasan al-Askari, eldest son of Ali, the tenth Shia Imam.
14. The twelfth and (currently) hidden Shia Imam - Muhammad al-Mahdi, eldest and only son to Hasan, the eleventh Shia Imam.
