The Four Corner Hustlers

The Four Corner Hustlers (often called 4CH) is a criminal organization originating around Madison Street on the west side of Chicago's inner city in the mid-1970's. They are an offshoot of the Vice Lords, but, on the street, most consider themselves a separate entity. In the correctional facilities, all members consider themselves Vice Lords Thus the reason why four corner hustlers are under the five point star not a diamond which often causes controversy. A criminal complaint unsealed on March 25, 2005 alleges that the 4CH have been linked historically to the distribution of large amounts of cocaine, crack cocaine, and heroin in the Chicago area. Gang members control numerous drug "spots", that is, street corners or buildings where narcotics are sold. The charges also allege that Ray Longstreet, the gangs recognized leader, oversaw a spot that sold drugs totaling as much as $50,000 per day. There are many satellite members in surroundings cities, but limited activity outside of Illinois.[1]
