The Five Colored-Face Devils a set of five characters featured within the famed ancient Chinese novel Investiture of the Gods (more commonly known as Fengshen Yanyi). These devils, known as the Five Colored-Face Devils have been situated within a large garden near the PEONY PAVILION and have played and guarded the pavilion for centuries upon centuries. One day in which Jiang Baby Tooth began to build a five-room villa within their territory, these five devils would summon a large tornado storm to destroy the production of Jiang's new tower. Thus, stones and dust continuously would be thrown around while the five demons stood together within their fire whirlwind. Once Jiang presented himself before the five demons, they would all beg for mercy and ask forgiveness, considering that the area had been their territory for many a year. Following this point, Jiang would tell the five demons to go to the Western Foothills of of Mount Singling Phoenix and never be seen again elsehere; the demons would comply and would be never shown again.
