[edit] Synopsis
A sheriff and a brooding New York socialite find themselves trapped in a remote cabin as unexplained occurrences indicate the presence of a mysterious force. They spend a night alone in the cabin, overcome with terror as they witness mysterious flashes of light, bizarre noises, and inexplicable damage to the sheriff's patrol car. The next day, they venture out into the woods and are confronted with what appears to be a giant monster. Soon, they come to realize it is merely an illusion. Nearby they find the true source of their fear: a small flying saucer parked in a clearing. They look into the saucer and overhear five tiny, terrified aliens discussing their failed attempts to frighten mankind into submission. As the aliens depart in terror, the sheriff declares with a smile, "I wish them luck. I hope the next planet they find, they're the giants."
