[edit] Plot synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The Narn and Drazi fleets are bombarding Centauri Prime from space. During this, Londo manages to get G'Kar out of his cell and back to the palace.

Londo discovers the Regent and finds he is under alien control. It turns out to be the Drakh who, after their homeworld Z'ha'dum was destroyed, are looking for a new base, and Centauri Prime is it. They have fusion bombs planted in various places on the planet to force the deal.

The alien Keeper says Londo will become Emperor, with the Keeper attached to him to make sure he does what is required.

Sheridan arrives in the region and orders a ceasefire. Delenn meanwhile is adrift in hyperspace and running out of options.

G'kar and Londo say goodbye. Londo then accepts the Keeper, and Londo issues the order to break off the attack. Sheridan then asks to meet with Londo personally to discuss things, which he agrees to. He has agreed to help Delenn if possible, but only as an act of charity.

Delenns ship has run out of fuel, and as a last act fires her weapons to attract the attention of anyone nearby. A group of Centauri ship converge on her position, and she thinks it is the end. At this point Lennier who is with her, admits his love for her. The Centauri ships take the ship in tow instead of destroying it.

Sheridan, Delenn, and G'Kar plan to attend Londo's inauguration as Emperor, but Londo advises them not to attend. They return to Babylon 5.

Garibaldi wonders about going to the Vorlon home planet to recover useful items, but automatic defenses have apparently already destroyed all ships that attempted the journey.

In the Centauri Palace, Londo sits alone and silent on his throne. It is the ultimate irony when Londo states that once, I had all the choices in the world, but no power at all, but now, I have all the power in the world, but no choices at all.
