The Fairly OddParents! (pilot)

The Fairly OddParents! is the first pilot episode of the hit as aired on Oh Yeah! Cartoons. Timmy has Vicky babysitting. When he is sent to his room to "go to bed", he discovers from his magic nine ball that his parents will be at the movies all night (the movie was called Titanic: Director's Cut). In his frustration, Timmy hurls the nine ball at a wall, causing it to burst and two fairies come from it. Cosmo and Wanda introduce themselves, and Timmy is creeped out by this until Wanda tells him that she and Cosmo grant wishes. Timmy, of course, uses this power to torture Vicky. Once he is finished having fun, he makes her believe that she was having a bad dream, and asks his parents if Vicky can always babysit for him.

- This was the first appearance of Timmy Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Turner, Vicky, and Cosmo and Wanda.
- Vicky mentions having a little brother who is never mentioned again afterwards.
- Mary Kay Bergman provided the original voice of Timmy Turner in the Oh Yeah! Cartoons shorts.
- This short appears as a bonus feature on the School's Out: The Musical DVD.
- Mr. and Mrs. Turner aren't fully seen until the regular Nicktoon series, when they appeared in the episode The Big Problem.
