The Experiment is the 12th episode of the ABC and Disney Television Show Recess.

[edit] Synopsis

After hearing an urban legend style story from Butch where teenagers kiss the school becomes fascinated and frightened by the idea that eventually they too will become interested in the opposite sex. A test to prove this wrong is proposed and eventually TJ and Spinelli are forced to kiss. The kiss each other on the lips for about 20 seconds. They both claim the kiss was horrible to the relief of everyone but it is clear neither felt it was nearly as bad as they publicly stated.

1st Appearance of Butch, and we find out how his hair became white.
