The Eric and Carson show is an American radio program. The show is currently the #1 afternoon drive radio show WWBN-FM in Flint MI (101.5).

The Eric and Carson Show is a mix of music, and discussion. The discussions range from pop culture, news, politics, and the personal lives of the hosts. The show features Eric introducing subjects and Carson supplying jokes and commentary. Mandi Martin appears twice an hour to deliver a traffic report, but is often chased out of the studio by the almost constant abuse at the hands of Eric and Carson. Also featured on the show is Producer Scooter and Intern Josh.
[edit] Beginnings
Eric was already in radio for a long time, but was bored with the management side and decided he wanted to get back on the air. Carson was an assistant car chief in the NASCAR Busch Series. The two began broadcasting together September 16, 2002 and have been doing a radio show ever since.
WWBN "The Banana" Night Show
The show started in September 2002 with Eric in the standard "Jock" role with Carson as his intern. After a successful ratings period in the Fall of 2002, the name of the show was called changed to "The Eric and Carson Show" to reflect Carson stepping into a more "host" role. The show continued for two years to generate high ratings, being number one in almost all male demos in the Flint market.
WKRK "Free FM" Weekend Show
In the fall of 2004, Eric and Carson were hired by WKRK-FM in Detroit, (WKRK)to do a weekend talk show. During that time they did shows from Super Bowl XL in Detroit, the MLB All-star game, and many live events in addition to their Saturday and Sunday schedule. They developed many bits at the WKRK show that contine to be big parts of the show. They stayed on weekends at WKRK for two years.
WWBN "The Banana" Afternoon Show
In September 06, Regent Communications signed Eric and Carson to do afternoons at WWBN. The current show is a blend of the night show and the Free FM show. In January 07, Eric and Carson officially became the #1 Afternoon Drive show in not only all male demos, but in persons 12 and older as well.

The Gay List
This is when Eric and Carson allow listeners to complain about what annoyed them that week. Listeners add things to a list that range from "Michigan for losing to Ohio State!" to "That girl that dumped me!" Eric and Carson have gained a lot of popularity from this list, despite its name.
Live Calls
This is where the hosts simply start answering random phone lines live on the air. While most stations either record their calls or screen them, Eric and Carson take the risk of putting random people on the radio. This is often met with mixed results.
The Sickos
Many radio shows have fan organizations, for Eric and Carson, its the SicKos. They are often found on The Asscave message board, or checking out the official website!
