The End of Silence is the fifth release and the third full-length album by Rollins Band, led by former Black Flag singer Henry Rollins.
In 2002, NMC Music released a special two-disc remastered version of the album, which features two bonus studio tracks and several songs performed live.

The song, which originally appeared as a promotional single B-side running 7:18, is edited to 6:14, as this brought the album's running time very near the maximum length possible for compact discs of the early 1990s.
