The Empress of the Style Invitational

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Empress of the Style Invitational runs the long-running Style Invitational humor contest in the Sunday Washington Post.

The Empress took over the Style Invitational in late 2003 after the resignation of The Czar. She is reported to have a lower tolerance for immature or bathroom humor, though this has not been fully manifest in her judgments. She has described herself as resembling the character Alice in the comic strip Dilbert, though you'll have to decide why on your own.

Previous to her work as the Empress, she worked as the Auxiliary Czar. An interview from this period can be found on The Weak Week website. Further research on Her Mysterious Excellency can be found at GopherDrool.com, the all purpose Style Invitational website.

P.S. - "In the Year 2004" is a bad way to start. You know what I mean.
