The Employee Benefits Security Administration

The Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) is a United States government agency under the ministry of U.S. Department of Labor. Its mission is to enforcing the fiduciary, reporting and disclosure provisions of Title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). EBSA is also committed to educating and assisting the Americans who are covered by the private retirement plans and private health and welfare plans, as well as the plan sponsors and members of the employee benefits community.
