The Empire collectively refers to the nation dominating Alagaësia in the fictional world of the Inheritance Trilogy, by Christopher Paolini.

In the time period of the events of the Inheritance Trilogy, The Empire is in control of all Alagaesia except for the elven controlled Du Weldenvarden and Surda. The Empire is ruled by the corrupt, evil dragon rider Galbatorix. The trilogy revolves around the character Eragon and the struggle to overthrow the Empire.

The Empire encompasses the area that was originally part of the Broddring Kingdom.
