The ENDS Report

Founded in 1978, The ENDS Report is the UK's leading journal of environmental policy and business, covering news, official reports, UK and EU policy and legislation and how environmental issues affect corporate strategy. It is published monthly by Environmental Data Services Ltd, now part of the Haymarket Group, and is subscription only.

[edit] Marek Meyer
The ENDS Report was edited from 1981 to 1997 by Marek Meyer, who was Editorial Director from 1997 to 2005. He died in 2005 from a rare form of kidney cancer. At the helm of ENDS, he built a strong reputation, The Independent's obituary describing him as "a consummate environmental journalist." He also received obituaries in The Guardian, the Press Gazette and The Times. Tributes were received from individuals from the European Commission, the Environment Agency, Friends of the Earth, the Institute for European Environmental Policy, Greenpeace UK and Forum for the Future.
