[edit] Plot

The episode begins in Nowhere, in the middle of the night. The Bagge family is sleeping, when a flying saucer appears over the house and bathes their house in a brilliant white light. Courage wakes up and walks towards the window to see what is causing the disturbance and sees a flying saucer. Suddenly, Muriel begins levitating off the bed and flies out the window, being drawn up to the saucer. Courage panics and rushes towards Eustace. He wakes him up and drags him outside to show him the saucer that has abducted Muriel. However, by the time they get outside, the saucer already left Nowhere. Inside the saucer, two alien duck brothers examine the abducted Muriel, who they have placed on a metal table under a sickening array of sharp surgical tools. The brothers argue for a bit, and after one of them grows so agitated that he drops a golden egg, they both pull a lever on a panel in front of the table. Suddenly, a gigantic metal claw descends from the saucer's roof, holding a metallic helmet with a large glass bulb attached to it. The claw firmly attaches the helmet to Muriel's head. The Green Duck then pulls out a remote control and presses a button on it. The bulb on top of the helmet lights up, and Muriel rises from the table. The duck then presses the button again, and Muriel jumps off of the table and begins walking around the saucer, her mind now under the control of the two duck brothers. The saucer then flies back to Nowhere and deposits Muriel back in bed, and it now appears that nothing ever happened, save the mussed up sheets, and the helmet on Muriel's head. Courage and Eustace head back to the room and Courage is surprised to see Muriel back. Eustace scowls at Courage and then goes back to bed. Courage tries to tell Eustace that he wasn't imagining things, but Eustace simply kicks him across the room. Courage gets to his feet and walks over to examine Muriel. He notices the alien helmet attached to her head and examines it. Suddenly, the helmet activates, and Muriel gets out of bed. She mechanically goes downstairs and jumps into Eustace's truck. Courage follows and jumps on the back, just as Muriel starts up the truck and drives away. Courage is disturbed by her odd behavior, and hopes that he can find out what is wrong with her by following her. A short time later, Muriel stops at an military base a short drive from the farm. The guard at the gate stops her, but allows her to pass, mistaking her for a harmless old lady. Muriel passes through the gate and goes inside the base. Courage jumps off the back of the truck and is about to follow, when a golden egg rolls out from under the truck, and a voice says "Told you to stop doing that!" Inside, Muriel walks down a hallway, apparently looking for something. Outside, the two ducks have hidden under the truck, and are manipulating Muriel from a safe distance away...until Courage appears under the truck. The duck brothers come out from under the truck, and begin playing keep away with the remote that is controlling Muriel, attempting to keep it from Courage. Inside, Muriel continues searching for something, while Courage continues his fight with the ducks, contending with their golden eggs (which they have now begun using as projectiles against Courage) and eventually defeating them in a fair fight. The ducks, now defeated, flee the scene, and Courage takes the remote which they were using to manipulate Muriel's mind. Meanwhile, back inside the base, Muriel finally reaches her destination; the kitchen. She goes inside, and the kitchen's chef enthusiastically greets her. But she is more interested in the duck on the counter, which looks a lot like the alien ducks Courage was just fighting. After staring at the duck for a few moments, Muriel proclaims in a thick German accent that it is a duck, and begins making her way towards it...when Courage picks up the remote and presses a button on it in an attempt to learn how it works. Suddenly, the lightbulb on Muriel's head goes out, and she falls to the ground asleep, now free from the helmet's control. Courage then begins tapping a button on the remote, reactivating the helmet, and forcing Muriel to do a variety of odd things. Suddenly, the brothers reappear, holding a new remote. The Purple Duck claims that they have not yet begun to fight, and hits a button on the remote. A mind-controlled Eustace then appears behind the ducks. Courage panics and begins frantically tapping a button on his remote, causing Muriel to crash through the wall behind him. She and Eustace then begin fighting, their rigid movements resembling those of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. Courage wins the first round, and calls a halt to the second round after the brothers use Eustace to strike a low blow in Muriel's stomach, tells the brothers to keep the fight clean, and continues the fight. After a few moments, the fight ends with both Muriel and Eustace knocking each other out. The brothers begin arguing again, but stop after a few seconds and begin weeping. Courage asks what's wrong, and the duck brothers tell him that they were going to use Muriel to free their brother from the chef, before he cooked him. Courage then volunteers to help the brothers free their captive sibling. A few moments later, Courage breaks into the base, now under the control of the brothers. He makes his way to the base's kitchen and frees the Red Duck. The chef, upset by this turn of events asks what he's going to serve, and Courage tells him in a thick German accent to serve strudel. The chef agrees, and Courage rejoins the brothers with the Red Duck in tow. The brothers call their saucer and thank Courage for his help, each one so happy about being reunited, they each drop a golden egg. They then begin arguing about how they should stop dropping eggs. The scene shifts back to the farmhouse. Muriel is now free of alien control, and is resting with Courage, being waited on, hand and foot by Eustace, who is now under Courage's control and serving as their butler, much to Courage's pleasure.
