Shredder sends out a message from the Technodrome, at this point at at the series is located on a Dimension X asteroid, to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) to meet him at the Southside Dump and fight. When the TMNT gets there, Shredder plans on using a "dimensional teleporter" to transport the TMNT to the Technodrome. April O'Neil and Vernon Fenwick hear Shredder's Broadcasting over the air and decide to go there to get the cover a story. When the TMNT arrice, the teleporter only manages to get Michaelangelo and Raphael, but it also takes April, Irma and Vernon as well.

After being teleported to Dimension X, Michaelangelo, Raphael, April, Irma and Vernon manage to escape from the Technodrome. When they don't know where to go, the List_of_Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_organisations#Neutrinos Neutrinos show up to help them.

Back on Earth, Donatello and Leonardo try to get Donatellos trans-dimensional portal running so that they can bring home Michaelangelo, Raphael, April, Irma and Vernon. To do this, they have to sneak inside the Channel 6 News Building and "borrow" a used transformer.

In Dimension X, Michaelangelo and Raphael discover from the Neutrinos that the only nearby dimensional portal is in the Technodrome. With help from the Neutrinos, they go back to the Technodrome looking for the dimensional portal. Vernon, who competes with April on the best news story, steals April's camera and leaves the Technodrome looking for a bigger story. Michaelangelo and Raphael contact Donatello and Leonardo and inform them that they are ready to go home. They don't know that Vernon has left until April tells them. Donatello tells them to hurry and find him before the dimensional portal closes.

Meanwhile, Krang has discovered that the Technodrome is stuck near a dormant volcano. If they can set off enough explosives, it can be enough to get the Technodrome moving back to Earth.

Michaelangelo, Raphael, April, Irma and the Neutrinos go out to find Vernon and resuce him before he gets beat up by mutants. They then head back to the Technodrome. They see the explosives near the Technodrome that Krang set and they rearrange them in hope to destroy Krang's plan.

Donatello transports Michaelangelo, Raphael, April, Irma back to Earth just before the explosives go off and just before the dimensional portal closes.

In Dimension X, the volcano erupts, but due to Michaelangelo and Raphael, it does not work out the way Krang hoped. Instead, the volcano surrounds the lower part of the Technodrome leaving it stuck deeper into the volcano.
