[edit] The Rockets

Formed in 1972 by Badanjek and McCarty, The Rockets released five studio albums and one live album between 1977 and 1983. Badanjek managed lead vocals from the drum kit early on. The pair were later joined by slide and rhythm guitarist Dennis Robbins, bassist John Fraga, and one time Amboy Dukes vocalist David Gilbert. This became the original line up recording 1977's Love Transfusion.
