'The Destruction of Everything is the Beginning of Something New' is the debut album by Adair. It was released on February 21, 2006. The first single was "The Diamond Ring" and it is available to hear at MySpace, along with another two songs from the album, entitled "Barricade the Doors" and "The Art of Staying Alive". The album's title, artwork, and lyrics use the story of the ancient city of Pompeii as an allegory for the band's reconstruction and rebirth.
