The Crumbs are a punk rock group from Miami, Florida. The band was started in 1993 as a side project to singer/guitarist Raf Classic and guitarist Johnny B's Cavity; the original line-up also included bassist Emil Four and a Half (founder of Miami's Four and a Half Records) and drummer Chuck Loose (singer for Fort Lauderdale's answer to Black Flag, Chickenhead).

The Crumbs started playing and touring intensively from the start, with Chuck Loose as their resident manager. Recess Records released the "I Fell in Love with an Alien Girl" EP in 1994. The record received rave reviews from Maximum Rockandroll.

The follow up "The Crumbs Get All Tangled Up" was released on South Florida's Far Out Records. The subject matter is considerably darker; (as illustrated in lyrics like "up to your neck in human waste" from the song No Cheese).

Lookout records signed the band in 1996. Their self-titled LP was recorded at Mass Giorgini's Sonic Iguana studio in Lafayette, Indiana, while on tour. It has a more mature record, the band began to wear their influences on the their sleeve; the sound of bands like the Dead Boys and the Saints is loud and clear.

In late 1997 Chuck Loose left the band to focus on his Graphic Design work. He was replaced by Grim, a longtime friend of Raf's.

1998's Low and Behold the Crumbs, was recorded at Easley Studios in Memphis. Many fans were surprised and disappointed by the Crumbs new sound. Their pre-punk influences started showing more, artists like the Stooges, Howling Wolf, the Sonics, the Rolling Stones and 1950's country music.

Recess Records put out 2000's "Out of Range" LP. Recorded at the Sweatbox in Austin, TX.

Emil Four and Half left the band soon after the release of this record, and was replaced by Jose Flores. Jose left the band in 2002 to focus on his other band, the Getback.

In 2002 Tonio Vargas took over on bass. They recorded 2004's Last Exit over a 4 hour timespan at Miami-Dade Community College. It was originally intended as a demo, but TKO Records released it as is.

The Crumbs are currently working on new material for their next LP.

The Crumbs released a video for "Dangerous Distractions" which was produced by Lisette Arocha. The video can be seen online: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5650354414682828122&q=the+crumbs
