[edit] Trivia
- The episode title is a play on words to the television series The Courtship of Eddie's Father.
- Another title used for this episode in advertising by The WB was Midnight Rendezvous.
- Phoebe and Paige tell Piper that Chris is really her son from the future, and she discovers she is pregnant with her second son.
- In past episodes, when a Darklighter is struck by his own arrow it blows him up, thus killing him. This didn't happen in this episode because they were in the ghostly plane where there are no powers. Instead the Darklighter only bleeds.
- Clarence the Angel of Death telling Chris that he was given a second chance is similar to a scene in the film It's a Wonderful Life in which an angel also named Clarence tells the character George that he too has a second chance at living his life.
- Chris's fading arm and hand as his moment of conception nears is reminiscent of the movie Back to the Future in which Marty McFly's arm and hand begin to fade away as the moment in which his parents must fall in love nears.
- Wyatt's first birthday is celebrated in this episode. He celebrates his next birthday in episode Payback's a Witch
- Leo claims that Elders aren't allowed to drink, yet he drank beer openly at Piper's bar P3 in the episode Soul Survivor. However, this is the episode where Leo fully accepts his new role as an Elder.[Leo wasn't an elder when P3 finally opened so he would have been aloud to drink then]
- This is the first time we see Rose McGowan with brown hair in two years.
- Fans somehow wonder how Piper was able to conceive Chris, while she was in the ghostly plane with Leo, however Chris did not reappear until Piper and Leo left the ghostly plane, therefore it could be that conception didn't actually take place until the moment they returned to reality.
- When Phoebe falls and and gets hurt (as Piper and Leo disappear to the ghostly plane), Paige drives her to the hospital. When they leave the hospital, Paige orbs them back to the manor, leaving Piper's Jeep at the hospital.
- It is later seen in Witch Wars that Gideon has a purple orb, unlike Leos blue orb. Although at the end of this episode, Gideon orbs ontop of the Golden Gate Bridge in a Blue Orb.
