The Courier (Ballarat)

The Courier is a daily tabloid newspaper printed in Ballarat, Victoria (Australia). The newspaper is one of two local newspapers for the Ballarat region, the other being Ballarat News. The Courier is currently owned by Rural Press Limited.

The Courier printed its first edition on June 10, 1867, with its first editor, Robert Clark, promising to 'speak out boldly' on issues impacting the Ballarat region.
The Courier is currently edited by Angela Carey.
