The Cosmic Key

The cosmic key is a device in Masters of the Universe: The Motion Picture that allows his owner to create portals to anywhere. It was built by Gwildor.
The Cosmic Key is also the title of a Masters of the Universe minicomic, featuring the mentioned device and the movie new characters who were introduced into the MOTU toyline.

[edit] Summary
The most malevolent force in the universe has come to Eternia: the Evil Cloud! Through pain of electrocution, it gives Skeletor a lot of new powers and two new allies: Saurod and Blade. Meanwhile, He-Man and the Sorceress summon Gwildor, the creator of the Cosmic Key, because he is the only one who can send the Evil Cloud back to its dimension with his Cosmic Key. Skeletor wastes no time and attacks with the power of the Cloud within him, but is narrowly defeated when the three heroes use the power of the Key to blast the Cloud to the edge of infinity, and He-Man knocks all the rest into the sunset. Though the Evil Cloud has gone, Blade and Saurod remain at Skeletor's service, but the Heroic Warriors also have a new ally, Gwildor.

- Since the Evil Cloud is a sort of "ultimate evil", it could be the same "Unnamed one" mentioned by King Hiss in The Powers of Grayskull - The Legend Begins!, but it's unknown.
- Though Skeletor appears in his "Terror Claws" armor, he doesn't use the Terror Claws in this comic.
- This is the shortest MOTU minicomic ever (just 6 pages).
