The Clip Show, Part 1 is the one-hundred and seventy-seventh episode of the hit NBC sitcom Seinfeld. It aired on May 14, 1998. It is the first part of a two-part episode, followed by "The Clip Show, Part 2." Both Clip shows were seen by 58.53 million viewers.

Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer plan to go to the movie, but Jerry takes out a little time to look at nine years of memories. Featuring relationships (getting in & out), etc.
The first montage of clips is set to John Williams' Superman: The Movie score. Superman is Jerry Seinfeld's favorite superhero and is often referenced in the show.

- During this episode, there is a scene where Jerry, Elaine, and George are dancing in the hallway of the prison cell they are led to in "The Finale, Part 2," meaning that "The Clip Show, Parts 1 and 2" were the actual last episodes of Seinfeld to be filmed.
