[edit] Production

Mitsuo Iso was the person in charge of digital effects on the RahXephon TV series, using Adobe After Effects to enhance certain scenes. Iso was put in charge of epiosde 15 and given permission to write, storyboard, direct, key animate and process this episode. He was joined by co-animation director Yoshiyuki Ito and key animators Kazuto Nakazawa and Takeshi Honda. This was Iso's directing debut, but it was not his writing debut; he co-wrote the Neon Genesis Evangelion episode "The Day Tokyo-3 Stood Still". After RahXephon, Iso went on to direct Denno Coil and was joined by Honda on that project.
