The Chemical Wedding is a heavy metal album released in 1998 (see 1998 in music) by Bruce Dickinson in collaboration with guitarist and producer Roy Z. The album draws some inspiration from the works of William Blake - of whom some paintings are featured in its artwork - although the name of the album and its title track derives from the Rosicrucian manifest the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz. As with the previous album, it featured Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith, former band-mate of Dickinson.
