[edit] Plot Summary
While preparing for a school talent competition in New York, the four girls united as The Cheetah Girls are discovered by an unscrupulous record producer and wooed with a lucrative recording contract. The girls must decide between entering the big time prematurely and working their way up, while also dealing with family problems and group member squabbles. When the cohesion of the group is threatened, the girls must find strength in each other.
Due to the popularity of the film, Disney formed a singing group with three of the lead actresses -- all but Raven-Symoné -- also named "The Cheetah Girls".
