The Cathedral (Polish: Katedra) is a science fiction short story by Jacek Dukaj, winner of the Janusz A. Zajdel Award in 2000, and of a 2002 short animated movie by Tomasz Bagiński based on the story, nominated to Academy Award in 2003. The movie has also won the title of the Best Animated Short - Siggraph 2002 in San Antonio and several other awards.

The movie, made in 3ds max, is focused on a pilgrim who visits the giant mystical building which looks like a medieval cathedral. The mystery surrounding the building becomes unveiled during the sunrise. The pilgrim becomes enchanted and stays in the building forever.
