[edit] Plot Summary

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

After accidentally tripping an alarm during one of her heists at the house of a suspected yakuza clan leader (though at first she doesn't realize her target is yakuza), Catwoman is brought into the public eye, invoking questions about any possible link between her and the Batman. This, in turn, intrigues Catwoman, who purposely sets of a silent alarm during a fake heist to lure the Dark Knight into a confrontation, one which she comes out on top and steals Batman's utility belt and remote-controlled Batarang as a prize. Back at her home, Catwoman attempts to hack into the utility belt's controls and get the Batarang to work, unknowingly setting off the controls for the Batbot and Batmobile, prompting Batman and Alfred to disconnect all Batwave transceivers to prevent any more havoc. Eventually Catwoman gets the Batarang working, and decides to use it in another attempt to steal from the yakuza boss again.

Unfortunately for her, this time the yakuza was prepared; falsely suspecting her to have been hired by another yakuza family, the target had his boys attempt to find her, and when they came up empty-handed, he waited for her to return with the Dragon's Teeth - his own personal ninja clan - laying in wait. Realizing her mistake, Catwoman attempts to convince the yakuza boss that she is a normal cat burglar and return the stolen goods (a jade lion statue) as pennance, but the boss could not be swayed, and she surely would have been killed had the Batman not chosen that moment to show up. Now forced to team up (and forced to hand over the belt she stole), Batman and Catwoman manage to defeat the yakuza boss and his thugs, but not before the statue Catwoman stole from him was broken, revealing a mini-disk containing all the data the police would need to arrest the yakuza family and tie them to other families across the states. Unfortunately for the Batman, Catwoman escapes in the aftermath, and their exploits in bringing down the yakuza family gives the police the impression that they were working as a viligante team, instead of one chasing the other as a thief.

Catwoman: And give up the thrill of the chase?
  • Catwoman: Batman and Catwoman connected? Hmm ... he looks tall, dark, and handsome.
  • (On the TV)
Sprang: So, would you say the idea of a Batman/Catwoman link wasn't so farfetched after all?
Ellen: Yes, it's clear now that they work together to take down Katsu ... as a vigilante team.
Alfred: Not quite what I had in mind when I encouraged you to meet women who share your interests, Master Bruce. But it's a start.
  • Batman: If Catwoman were somehow, some way able to trace the signal back here --
