The Captal's Tower is an upcoming fantasy novel to be written by author Melanie Rawn. It is the third book of three in the Exiles series.

The book has been given several false release dates and is listed on the Barnes and Noble website and amazon.com as having been published on January 1st, 2006. Despite this information, the book has not been written yet.
Many fans are frustrated by the ongoing wait for the final volume in this series given that the second volume was published in 1997. Readers who follow the author's website, however, are aware that numerous health and personal issues have prevented Rawn from finishing the book. In 2003, she claimed to have started writing The Captal's Tower, but warned that it takes her anywhere from 18 months to 5 years to finish a book. Some readers find it highly doubtful that The Captal's Tower will ever be written as Rawn has stated that she hates reading her own work and is relying on her fans for information because she cannot remember the details of the series.
