The Burning of the Red Lotus Temple (火燒紅蓮寺 Huo shao hong lian si) is a 1928 Chinese silent film about the rescue of a commander held captive in a temple full of traps. The director, Zhang Sichuan, adapted the film from the novel The Tale of the Extraordinary Swordsman. The film sold out for 23 days straight.

It is the longest film ever produced, running 27 hours in total. It was released in 18 feature-length parts between 1928 and 1931.
