The Burg

The Burg is an original Internet series started in 2006 about five young hipsters living in Williamsburg, New York. New episodes appear sporadically and are up to 15 minutes in length. They are supplemented by occasional shorts.
The show is directed and produced by Kathleen Grace and Thom Woodley.
The main characters are Xander (Matt Yeager), an unsuccessful film maker with a big trust fund; Jed (Bob McClure), a lanky and bespectacled musician; Spring (Lindsey Broad), a well-intentioned but misguided activist; Courtney (Kelli Giddish), an aspiring actress trying to catch her big break; and Ryan (Jeff Skowron), a stockbroker still adjusting to Williamsburg and its culture.
Season One
Episode 101: CRED. Jed and Xander kick Early out and look for roommates; Courtney tries to decide between a life of credit debt or a really cool shirt.
Episode 102: MYSPACE. Jed bristles at new roomie Ryan’s decorating tastes; Courtney takes down Spring’s offensive profile from her myspace top 8; Xander learns he stares too much.
Episode 103: BAR. Courtney gets a job dancing at parties; the rest of the gang goes on the quest for the perfect hangout.
Episode 104: PROJECT. Courtney decides Ryan is a fixer upper; Xander and Jed go to the projects to buy drugs; Spring helps a troubled youth.
Episode 105: FAIR TRADE. Spring protests the new corporate coffee chain in town; Xander tries to win over his materialistic father; Jed and Early try their hand at the stock market.
Episode 106: CHEMISTRY. Spring goes on an organic readjustment; Xander tries to become the next Morgan Spurlock; Ryan makes his life list.
Episode 107: TRAINING. The gang sets out to go to a party, but the L train is closed for repairs; Ryan has to rely on his boy scout training.
Episode 108: SINGLE. Jed struggles with choosing his mediocre band’s hit single; Xander takes an unusual interest in Courtney and Ryan.
Episode 109: 90s. Spring and Jed hang out in the old folks home; Courtney and Xander debut 90s fashion.
Episode 110: HOOD. Jed has a nervous breakdown and looks for a new apartment; Spring and Courtney obsess over Xander and Ryan’s shady new roommate Maia.
Episode 111: OUT. Xander has a poker night fundraiser for his film; Spring and Courtney take Maia for a girls' night out on the town.
