The Broken Family Band

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Broken Family Band are a critically acclaimed, four piece alt. country rock band from Cambridge, UK. They've played with The Frames, St. Thomas, Richmond Fontaine, James Yorkston, British Sea Power and The Shins, and have toured extensively around the UK and Europe. Critical acclaim tends to focus on their lyrics and loose approach to country music, which often encompasses other styles, notably indie rock, heavy metal and new wave.

The band's approach to the music industry is somewhat unusual in the fact that they still all have day jobs, despite their relative success.
