The Brian Bedford Band

The Brian Bedford Band is a transatlantic folk band, with members from the North of the UK and of the USA. The band likes to think of itself as united in its northernness. The band members from the UK are Brian Bedford and Jacey Bedford, (formerly members of the a cappella trio Artisan) and Multi-instrumentalist Ben Walker; and from Seattle, the duo William Pint & Felicia Dale.
The band plays a mixture of songs written by both Brian and Ben as well as traditional songs arranged by William and Felicia. The group's launch party was on 1st April 2006 and the band toured the UK until July 2006. With all five members providing vocals, and 15 instruments between them the band is already proving popular.
With band members on both sides of the Atlantic, getting together may not be a regular thing and there are no upcoming tours scheduled at present. William and Felicia are currently touring as the maritime music duo William Pint & Felicia Dale (www.pintndale.com), Brian Bedford is currently running his studio (www.parkheadstudio.co.uk)and Jacey Bedford is currently running her touring agency for bands touring the UK (www.jacey-bedford.com) while Ben Walker plays in a duo with Chris Knowles (www.benwalker.org).
