The Box is a film written and directed by Richard Kelly (based on a story written by Richard Matheson). The film surrounds a troubled married couple who find a small wooden box on their doorstep, which brings with it unforseen fortune. Their good luck, however, comes at a price. Richard Kelly has reported on his latest blog post(Myspace), "We are hoping to begin production in early March, 2007 in Virginia. And it looks like NASA will be very involved in the production of THE BOX."
It is based on "Button, Button", an episode of The Twilight Zone.
