The Bourne Betrayal is the title for the upcoming novel by Eric Van Lustbader and the fifth novel in the Jason Bourne series created by Robert Ludlum. This will be Lustbader's second Bourne novel, following The Bourne Legacy that was published in 2004. Although very few specifics are given about the novel itself, it is likely that Jason Bourne himself will return, along with Joshua "Khan" Webb, Bourne's son from his first marriage.
The official announcement was posted on the Lustbader's website:
"it's official! I'm writing the next Jason Bourne novel, which is tentatively titled, The Bourne Trajectory. I'm 2/3 of the way through the draft. It's tentatively scheduled for publication in the summer of 2007, but that's dependent on the release date of the third Bourne film, The Bourne Ultimatum, starring Matt Damon. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy will be back helming, which ensures another quality edge-of-your-seat thrillride." [1]

So much to tell, so little time! It's been a busy winter -- so much so that I've neglected to update the Website until now. Sorry about that. Warner Books will be publishing my latest novel, The Bourne Betrayal, in June, 2007, several weeks before the third Matt Damon film, "The Bourne Ultimatum."
