The Book of Dave is a 2006 book written by English novelist Will Self.

It tells the story of a disgruntled London Taxi driver named Dave Rudman who writes a book of his rantings. He then buries the book, which is discovered 500 years later and used as the sacred text for a religion that has taken hold in the flooded remnants of London.
