The Blue Light

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Blue Light is a Brothers Grimm fairy tale. It shares many features with the story of Aladdin and his magic lamp, probably because the teller was exposed to the story, and simply altered the details to fit his or her background.[citation needed] Other fairy tales from Grimm, such as Simeli mountain and The Spirit in the Bottle, are also derived from Arabian night tales.[citation needed]
