The Blue Dahlia (AKA Le Dahlia Bleu) - is a Fantastic ballet in 2 Acts, with choreography by Marius Petipa, and music by Cesare Pugni. Libretto by Marius Petipa.
First presented by the Imperial Ballet on April 12/24 (Julian/Gregorian calendar dates), 1860, at the Imperial Bolshoi Kamenny Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia. Principal dancers - Mariia Surovshchikova-Petipa (as the Blue Dahlia), and Timofei Stukolkin (as Beausoleil)

- Revival by Pavel Gerdt for the Imperial Ballet. First presented at the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg, on March 5/18, 1905. Principal Dancers - Lubov Egorova (as the Blue Dhalia)

- Petipa disliked Gerdt's 1905 revival of The Blue Dahlia to such a degree that he requested his name be removed from the program.
