The Blame-its
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Blame-its are a punk band originally from Hinton, Alberta, Canada. The band was formed by twin brothers Tye (bass and vocals), Trav (guitar and vocals), and their friend Chrispy (drums).
Having started in 1997 while still in junior high school, these punk rockers helped put their hometown of Hinton on the punk map.
They moved to Edmonton in 2003 to make a name for themselves in the Edmonton punk scene. This was a success as they began to play regular gigs and became well known by the underground scene.
Their first CD "Freeze My Brain" consists of thirteen tracks. The band describes their own sound as "soda pop punk".
January 19th, 2006, marked the 9th anniversary for The Blame-its, and they celebrated by putting on show in Edmonton at the Sidetrack Cafe venue with the band PiND (friends of The Blame-its) opening the show.
