[edit] Plot Summary
A recent string of robberies plagues Gotham City, and it’s up to Batman once again to find the culprits behind the heists. The robberies are seemingly random, involving scrap metal and spare parts. But, as Batman has his first encounter with the thieves, he discovers that not only are the robberies odd, but so is the head honcho in charge - a nerdy ventriloquist, taking orders from his cruel dummy!
As Batman digs deeper into the Ventriloquist’s past, he discovers that after being booed off stage one night with his puppet Scarface, Arnold Wesker seemingly snapped, and robbed the audience that same night. When it becomes clear to Batman that Arnold has split personalities, he is forced to try to figure out the bigger plot, not from Arnold, but from the puppet Scarface. After an encounter at a factory, Scarface is thrown onto a conveyor belt, where he is shocked, crushed, and has nails driven through him. While Mugsy and Rhino, Scarface’s two henchmen, hold off the Batman, Wesker manages to get away with Scarface’s mangled body, as well as with a valuable computer chip.
Finally, after much time constructing and welding, the hidden machine is finally revealed - a giant robotic Scarface, big enough to hold Wesker in the palm of its hand like the puppet he is treated as. Using the giant robot Scarface, the gang busts into a bank, opening up its chest cavity to store several tons of gold bricks. As the robot, with Wesker in hand, leaves the bank, Batman shows up in time to engage in a battle with the monstrous mechanical puppet, who uses his now larger-than-life medallion to swing and attempt to maim the Batman. After a successful hit sends Batman flying up onto a large train track platform, Batman “blinds” the dummy by whipping an acid pellet from his utility belt at Scarface’s eyes. Scarface drops Wesker before tumbling onto its front, right along the tracks. In Wesker’s mind, he hears the giant robot scold him by calling him a dummy, the second before a train rams through the robot, sending scraps of metal and bricks of gold everywhere in a fiery explosion.
Wesker is sent to Arkham, and in a later episode, it is revealed that Batman kept the large head of the robot Scarface as a souvenir.

[edit] Quotes
- Robot Scarface: Dummy! (A speeding train then collides with the robot Scarface)
- Scarface: (to Rhino after shouting at him for calling him a dummy) You think I'm a dummy?! Am I stupid?! Am I a moron?!
- Scarface: (in Wesker's head) It's time.
- Scarface: (to Wesker) Quit bawlin, dummy. I ain't gone yet. Got the circuit board? (Wesker gets the chip) Good boy. Now take me back. It's time for the phoenix to rise.
- Batman: At least he has a weakspot, Wesker.
- Robot Scarface: (about Batman) Well, look who don't know when to quit.
- Wesker: Sir, have you decided about the ranch?
Scarface: Huh? What are jabbering about now?
Wesker: You remember talking about retiring after the big heist. To walk the land under clear skies. What do you think? Texas or Montana?
Scarface: Tell you what, you go to Texas. I'm going Montana.
Wesker: (laughs) Always with the jokes, sir. (to the thugs about Scarface) He never leave me. - Wesker: (sadly) We're going to go to Texas or Montana.
Batman: We all have places we'd rather be.
