"The Bet" is the 7th episode of the Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh. It first aired on March 14, 2004. It was the first episode of the second season.

- When Josh turns the bedroom into a room of candy, he wears a tophat and has a cane; similar to Willy Wonka.
- If you look closely, Drake's wireless Gamesphere controller is a green Nintendo 64 controller with a fake antenna attached to it. There is also an Xbox controller being played before Drake pulled out a wireless controller.
- No games came with the Gamesphere, so Josh can't play it unless he has internet access to download game demos.
- Gamesphere is a parody of Nintendo Gamecube.
- Before the bet, Josh is probably playing Super Mario Bros. on his handheld video game because he proclaims that there is a red turtle shell in the game, and "I'll jump the mushroom when it's mushroom jumpin' time."
