The Best Of is Céline Dion's third album released in Europe (June 6, 1988). In Germany the album was re-named Vivre.
[edit] Album information
The album is a compilation of Dion's previous songs released on wings of "Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi" single's success. On April 30, 1988 Dion won the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland with that song. She represented Switzerland. The album contained mostly singles released in France: "D'Amour Ou d'Amitié" (1983), "Mon Ami M'A Quittée" (1983), "C'Est Pour Vivre" (1985), "Billy" (1986), "Je Ne Veux Pas" (1987), "La Religieuse" (1988) and "Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi" (1988). Last four of them were never released on the Canadian albums. The Best Of proved to be a moderate success.
