The Beauty in Sinking Ships is a self-produced cassette record by Mat Devine and Isaac Bender, who later formed Kill Hannah. Released sometime in 1996, it is a collection of material from Devine's first band, In a Jar UK and demo versions of what would become Kill Hannah songs. It is currently out of print. Devine is the only current member of Kill Hannah to appear on this release. In some songs, like nothing is mysterious, Devine does not sing at all.
