The Beatles Story is an exhibition and museum dedicated to The Beatles. It is based in Albert Dock, Liverpool, England.

[edit] History of the Museum

This museum was established in 1990, and is the only museum in the world completely dedicated to the Beatles. The museum contains exhibits displaying the band from its early years to its breakup. Tours are also available for the rest of the town. There are also other Beatles- related attractions nearby. In 2000, Mr. Jeremy Goldman bought The Beatles Story, and installed 'Audio Guides'.

Features include instruments used by the Beatles, artifacts featuring the band, and exhibits about the members after the Beatles disbanded. The museum also possesses John Lennon's famous glasses, the guitars of The Beatles, and used to exhibit John Lennon's piano, but they no longer possess this artifact.

The Beatles Story in located in Britannia Vaults, Albert Dock, Liverpool,United Kingdom. There are also many other attractions in the Albert dock, including the Tate Liverpool, and the Maritime Museum. Other Beatles-related attractions include Mendips, and 20 Forthlin Road, th childhood homes of Lennon and McCartney; Penny Lane; and Strawberry Fields. Liverpool and The Beatles Story are continuing to expand for the 2008 Capital of Culture.
