The Author's Ordeal

The Author's Ordeal are words to a song, imitating a Gilbert and Sullivan patter song, written by science fiction author Isaac Asimov. They are included in his collection of short stories Earth Is Room Enough, and depict the agonies he goes through in thinking up a new science fiction story.
