The Association of Business Executives

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) is a British membership body, based in London, that offers internationally recognised qualifications in business and management. It has students and members in over 70 countries around the world.

It is one of a number of professional bodies in the UK (others include ACCA, CIMA, CIM and AAT), but the only one of these with a particular focus on development of a broad range of business and management skills.

ABE was set up in 1973 to meet the need for business and management training in the UK. It soon found new markets in other countries around the world, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. It has continued to offer pathways to degrees from countries like the UK and the US for those students who could not otherwise afford to do so.

ABE's head office is located in London, and there are ABE representatives in other countries including Malaysia, Singapore and Pakistan and so on.
